My name is Joel!

I am a motion designer based in Manchester, UK. I have over 13 years experience
working in the design and motion industry. I started life as a graphic designer before
developing a hankering for making things move.

I have most recently worked as a senior motion designer at Centre Screen, where
I have developed extensive knowledge in designing content for large scale exhibitions,
immersive experiences and educational content for award winning national and
international museums. I was part of a team that focused on narrative based design,
ensuring the stories in some of the worlds leading heritage attractions were at the
forefront of the experience.

I have also had the pleasure to work on web based campaigns for clients such as
the BBC. Creating stories to help educate and engage a young audience in often
complex subjects. Alongside my motion graphic work, I have enjoyed designing
and developing interactive content for exhibitions, placing key importance on 
maintaining consistency in narrative and quality throughout a project.

I have been a musician for many years and recently enjoyed combining the creative
worldsI love when producing visuals for music vidoes, online promotional content
and performing live visuals with Manchester based music producer Werkha.
